How it Works

1. Bring your things to the RDM office *now based in Birchwood*

2. Get a customer receipt/customer number

3. We'll take a look through the items and then we will contact you within 2 days with an offer

4. If you accept, we transfer the money to your bank account/Paypal instantly

5. If you aren't happy with the offer, you are welcome to come and collect your stuff - no charge!

6. Tell your friends and family how awesome we are!

We will take a quick look at it, make sure it falls into one of the categories we are interested in, have a little natter with you about anything we should be aware of i.e if you know something is particularly rare or valuable, it's within your best interests to let us know - you want the most money right!

We issue you with a customer number and receipt for your things and we log and store your items in our secure fully alarmed and insured office premises. Please remember to bring a form of ID with you - this can be driving license, bus pass, student card, passport etc

I'm afraid not, all items will have to be quality checked. Our specialists will want to have a good look through the items, check the condition, test items to make sure that they work etc.

Your time is important, you don't have to be waiting around, and our specialists may not be around or in a position to assist at that moment in time. We may get in touch same day or next day with an offer but we will quote a 2 working day turnaround to get an offer to you so that you have a realistic timescale.

Our preferred method of payment is direct bank transfer. This allows us to pay you instantly after you accept our offer. We will also transfer to a PayPal account however the customer would have to pay any associated fees with this. We do not keep any cash on the premises therefore we cannot pay for any items with cash.

Please do not be offended if we decide to pass on your items or offer a lower amount than you were expecting, it does not mean that your items are worthless or any less special. 

We as a business have to make a decision that combines a variety of factors before we can make an offer - how much space will it take up, what condition is it, how much cleaning is involved, how much profit is there for us, how quickly can we sell this, is there a big demand for it etc

If you would like to decline our offer, that is absolutely fine and there will be no hard feelings here on our behalf and you will be welcome to swing by and collect your items.

If we decide to pass on your items and they just aren't our cup of tea, we will let you know and you can come and collect them for us at a time suitable for you. Alternatively, if you would rather not see them again, we can arrange to drop them off at a local charity donation centre on your behalf.

Nope - if you plan on sending pictures of your items via whatsapp or email then just do this whenever suits you

If you are coming in person, it's always handy if you can let us know if you are coming so we can make sure we look out for you and make sure we will be here when you arrive as we do take lunch breaks and occasionally do external appointments.

However we do have open hours at our office where you can show up without an appointment - Tuesday and Thursdays 10am - 4pm and Wednesdays and Fridays 11am - 2pm.

We can on occasion offer weekend or evening appointments, however please get in touch to discuss these in advance.

There is lots of free parking including disabled access at The Birchwood Centre. If you require assistance from your car with your items then please let us know and we can bring a goods trolly to your vehicle

We find it a new home! 

We love our collectables and we want them to be cherished and loved in the way they were intended rather than sent to landfill or sat gathering dust in a loft. We collect them, we trade them, we sell them to other collectors, we exhibit at shows and events where we sell to collectors. Whatever it takes to find them a place to be loved!
